BOROLI
318 metres above sea level and above the most famous Barolo cru stands La Brunella, the farmhouse owned by the Boroli family. In addition to the original winery, 2006 saw the inauguration of a new building in which tradition and innovation come together in harmony and with total respect for nature and the landscape.
The building was designed by Guido Boroli himself, who is an architect as well as a wine producer, and it occupies more than 1000 square metres divided into three sections: the cellar, where the wine is conditioned and aged; the ground floor where the winemaking process is carried out; and finally, the tasting room, with large windows that give visitors breathtaking and unique views.
The special nature of the winery is also seen in its outer appearance: the walls are the first example of a surface made using solid wood obtained by dismantling used barriques. It’s a detail that evokes the Barolo production cycle while at the same time blending seamlessly with the landscape.
