Dosio Vigneti

Dosio Vigneti

Dosio Vigneti was founded in 1974. Beppe Dosio extended the original small winery of an ancient Piedmont farmhouse, entirely underground, kitting it out with the most advanced winemaking equipment. The building dates back to the mid-18th -century, as evidenced by the ancient beams featured in the tasting room, and has been completely restored, while retaining the original architecture.

The winery is located at the highest point of La Morra, in the very heart of the Langhe’s Barolo area, and at a delightful position: 500 metres above sea level, the view takes in the Cuneo plain with the backdrop of the Alps, from Maritime to the Monte Rosa massif.

Here, the vineyards of the Serradenari hill produce the highest Barolos of the appellation, assisted by the temperature difference between night and day, which allows the Nebbiolo grapes to develop singular flavours with elegant and harmonious tannins.
